CLASSROOM CONNECTIONS

Classroom Connections has been designed to create an infrastructure and network for Florida-based schools to partner with other schools in foreign countries for educational enrichment and social advancement. This network will promote the use of information and communication technologies and will enhance the levels of reading proficiency and technological adeptness in the classroom. Teachers and students will work together across borders and with many mediums to broaden the range of the educational opportunities that are offered to them. This network will motivate teachers and students to open their classrooms to the world.

The results of these efforts are to build partnerships with teachers and students in the Bahamas and Florida through sustained collaboration on education and technology-based initiatives. Thus this project will further educate students and teachers in Florida and the Bahamas in the process of globalization and 21st Century skills.
